Single origin coffee is made from beans from a single region

Single origin coffee is not a blend, but rather made using beans from a single country, region, or farm.
It can be referred to by country, such as Brazil or Ethiopia, by region, such as Alta Mogiana in Brazil or Yirgacheffe in Ethiopia, or even by farm, such as Farm Bau in Brazil or Farm Metad in Ethiopia.
In this way, single origin coffee is a style that celebrates the individuality of the place of origin.

As for the characteristics of each country, Brazil has nutty and chocolate flavors with a mild bitterness and a hint of sweetness.
Colombia has nutty and caramel flavors and a mild acidity.
Guatemala has a well-balanced acidity with notes of chocolate and spice.
Ethiopia has a gorgeous aroma, citrus and floral flavors, and a light acidity that can be brought out with a light roast.
Indonesian coffee has an aroma reminiscent of the herbs and spices that Mandheling is famous for, and a deep, rich flavor can be enjoyed with a dark roast.
Fair trade agreements with the producers and growers are sometimes incorporated.
